My name is Grant,

Besides Rob, I’ve been the only transmission rebuilder of Robs Transmission since the beginning.

Growing up in Northbridge Mass, and always around machinery, I’ve had a saw mill, construction company and welding/model making company in our backyard. Having such a great working family molded me into what I am today. Raised in a family that took great pride in what we created, it is in my blood. Growing up, my whole life was always taking apart and rebuilding snow mobiles, dirt bikes, motorcycles, and vehicles. Doing so gave me a great understanding how things work.

Training: Graduated from Blackstone Valley Tech in Upton Massachusetts in 1994

My junior year i took a co-op job for Hathaway transmission in Whitinsville Mass, where I remained for 13 years until the owner retired.

After I moved to Rhode Island, I was hired as a rebuilder for Ammco Transmission with Rob Bourne as the manager. After the owner sold the franchise. I worked under the new ownership for a short time until    “ Rob’s Transmissions ” was up and running, and been here ever since.

Every transmission goes though me, and I treat each one as a man who takes pride in his craft would.
